In 1963 all Porsches came to market with a reinforced seat belt mount that also had a rear mount for the shoulder belt even though the seat belts themselves were optional. What this means for you is the installation of new seat belts just got easier even if there were no original seat belts installed.
Something that is important to note. Make sure when you do your install that the mounting hole goes right through the sheet metal of the body. In some of the earlier models the drill holes need a larger washer to reinforce things.
