Information On Porsche Spoilers - 2

Inspect the channels to ensure there is no damage and if all is well clean and prepare for reuse. Now it is time to install the new wall.
Connect the bottom portion of the new wall the rubber channel. Attach the rubber channel to the edge of the engine cover. Now it is time to test the rear spoiler wall. Remember the channel runs from side to side so place it behind the 2 dowels.
Reattach the grill to the two front Allen bolts being careful not to scratch the paint. This will leave the back of the grill floating. Now you need to be really patient to accomplish the last part.
Raise the wall and tilt the grill and attach the one side of the channel. Work your way across the grill about one inch at a time. Align as you go along moving from side to side. That's it you are almost done.
Reattach the last two Allen bolts to the raising and lowering mechanism. Be careful and don't use too much force. Gentle does it and they should slide right into the final location. Now snug them down.
Stand back and check the alignment. Put the key back in the ignition and raise the spoiler to the fully extended position checking the alignment. Then all the way to the fully down position again checking the alignment. Make any needed adjustments.
Now the only thing left to do is stand back and admire your work.
